The iHeartPodcast Awards are back and this year they're happening live from SXSW. If you're into podcasts at all, tonight is worth tuning in.
What Is the iHeartPodcast Awards?
It's one of the biggest nights in podcasting. The awards cover everything from Comedy and Crime to Sports, News, Business, Pop Culture, Food and more. Winners are chosen by a panel of industry leaders, not just a popularity vote, which makes it actually mean something.
When and Where Is It?
The show takes place tonight, Monday March 16, at 7 p.m. CT at ACL Live at the Moody Theater in Austin, TX as part of SXSW.
But you don't need to be in Austin to watch.
How to Watch the iHeartPodcast Awards for Free
Tonight at 7 p.m. CT - 5 p.m. PDT Free on VEEPS. No excuses.
👉 Watch live: veeps.events/iheartpodcastawards
This year the show streams live and free on VEEPS. If you haven't heard of VEEPS, you're not alone. Neither had we. But it's a legit live streaming platform and all you need is a free account to watch. Head to veeps.events/iheartpodcastawards and sign up. No cable, no subscription, no catch.
Previous years streamed on YouTube, so the move to VEEPS is new. Worth bookmarking now so you're not scrambling at showtime.
Can't watch live? The show also broadcasts on select iHeartMedia radio stations at 11 p.m. local time and will be available on the iHeartRadio app.
Who's Hosting and Who's Presenting?
Ego Nwodim, actress, comedian and host of the "Thanks Dad" podcast, is emceeing the whole thing. Will Ferrell opens the show. Holly Frey from "Stuff You Missed in History Class" is on winners correspondent duty. DJ Obscene handles the music.

Presenters include Eric Andre, Iliza Schlesinger, Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark, Hannah Berner and Paige DeSorbo, Jennie Garth, Lele Pons, Rider Strong and more. TikTok creators Caroline Vazzana, Clifford Taylor IV and Tim Martin are also on the list.
Come Back for the Full Winners Report
We'll have a full post-show breakdown with the complete winners list dropping later this week. Bookmark this page or subscribe to the Great Pods newsletter so you don't miss it.
